Mark is a seasoned veteran of the Food, Beverage, and Hospitality industries. He has held a variety of positions including Restauranteur, General Manager, Hotel Food and Beverage Director, and Hotel/Restaurant Consultant. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Hawaii Pacific University, is a trained Chef, and a Certified Sommelier. Mark was a business management instructor with the Art Institute of California – San Diego for over 14 years. In his spare time Mark performs as a lead singer/guitarist with a few bands in town including The Groove Mercenaries (Funk/Dance) and Yacht Rock Party “YARP” (Classic/Yacht Rock).
