Southern States University celebrates Filipino-American Month in October by highlighting and congratulating Dr. Tem Bugarin.
As the former Commanding Officer of USS Saginaw, Dr. Bugarin is among the first high-ranking officers in the U.S. Navy of Filipino-American descent. Recently, Dr. Bugarin was invited to Washington, D.C. as part of several talks to honor Filipino-Americans. You can read more about his presentations in the links provided below:
