Dr Mohammad Almuhana - New Chief Academic Officer

We are delighted to officially welcome Dr. Mohammad
Almuhana as the new Chief Academic Officer at SSU.

We are especially proud to note that Dr. Almuhana is an SSU
alumnus from the MBA program!

He believes strongly in the power of education to transform lives
and is committed to leadership that prioritizes students,
supports academic excellence, and promotes continuous
growth in higher education.

He holds a doctorate in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics and is currently a CPA candidate with the California Board of Accountancy. With a background in accounting, finance, and data analytics, Dr. Almuhana has taught and mentored students across a variety of disciplines and institutions.

His recent research explores critical economic and regulatory issues in California, including the impact of wildfire-related financial risks on the home insurance market, research that was formally requested by CALFIRE in 2025.
