DIVERSITY TALK

DIVERSITY TALK

Women in STEM

(science, technology, engineering, math)

by Dr. Claudia Araiza, SSU Chancellor

Come join in this new initiative of the university to talk openly about issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This is the first Diversity Talk with the plan of offering them twice per year. Dr. Araiza pursued her education and first jobs in economics during a time when a small portion of the professionals in economics was represented by women. Come and hear of her experiences and learn some historical facts about women in STEM careers in the U.S.
