ALL MEMBERS OF THE SSU CAMPUS COMMUNITY
We are all deeply saddened by the terrible natural disaster that hit Japan late yesterday our time. Not only do we have a significant number of Japanese students studying at SSU , many others have friends and loved ones in parts of the world most deeply affected by this tragedy. On behalf of the administration of both our schools, I want to extend our sincere concern for our students, their families and friends, and offer whatever support and assistance possible.
One way to do that is to make our phone and internet services available to our students who may not have their own to try to connect them to friends and loved ones in the affected areas. Also if any of our students have special needs arising from these circumstances, please know you are welcome to contact of our Chancellor, Mr. John Tucker (jtucker@ssu.edu).
