A Message about the Earthquake in Turkey and Syria
Dear SSU Community:
I’d like to ask to join us in solidarity for the people in Turkey and Syria who have been devastated by the recent earthquake. It is especially the case that we have a large population of students currently studying at our campuses from Turkey and we also have many former students from Turkey and Syria who are living in those countries. Our friendship and collegiality have been very special over the years. Our thoughts are with the people who have been affected as they begin a long and difficult recovery from this natural disaster.
To our Turkish students: Please know that you and your loved ones are in our prayers. We are currently in search of opportunities that could bring financial relief for our Turkish students who have been financially affected by this tragedy. Please reach out to us for any concerns. Your instructors and staff are here to support you in any way we can.
